WakeTrek support

A little help
for your next paddle.

WakeTrek is currently in beta development. Public download and enrollment links will be added when available.

Recording a paddle

Allow location access in iOS Settings, then plan and start your paddle in WakeTrek. Keep the iPhone with you; it records the GPS route and controls the workout lifecycle.

Maps, weather and launch search

Open Settings → Privacy & Online Services in WakeTrek to review your choice. These services are optional; local recording can continue without them when location permission is granted.

Apple Health and Watch

Apple Health needs separate authorization. The paired Watch companion displays status from your iPhone and sends pause/resume commands; the iPhone remains the recorder.

Protect your trip history

Use Settings → Export WakeTrek backup and save the file outside the app. Keep your original backup until you have verified any restored copy. Do not uninstall the app before securing your trips.

Report a beta issue

Email admin@waketrek.com for beta support. Include your app build, iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. Share diagnostic files only deliberately: they can contain precise locations and other personal information.

Conditions and return guidance

Maps, forecasts, water readings and return estimates may be missing or inaccurate. Verify access and conditions independently, and use your own safety planning for every paddle.
